We are the Geo and the Mia behind GeoMia.

For years, the water was home — a sailboat, the Finnish coastline and the kind of freedom that's hard to explain. Then one day we decided to swap the ocean for the open road. Getting the van required a detour or two — including a heavy vehicle driving licence neither of us had. But that's probably all you need to know about how we make decisions.

We don't travel to tick boxes or collect highlights. We travel because we're genuinely curious — about the road that isn't on the map, the light at a certain hour, the small moment that turns an ordinary stop into something you remember years later.

Norway keeps pulling us back. We've been here in all weathers, at all hours — with tents, in cabins, parked somewhere in the north watching the lights move across the sky. Not as travel writers with an agenda. Just two people who can't seem to stay away.
